Carlos Young is Founder and President of Zeemly, a professional services company focused on delivering data warehouse, business intelligence and data visualizations solutions to corporations using the apposite leading tools in the market.
Mr. Young has been a data warehouse and business intelligence practitioner for over 15 years and has extensive experience in all facets of data warehousing and business intelligence projects. He has solid experience in dimensional modeling, ETL architectures, BI solution architectures and on creating data visualizations. Mr. Young has provided business intelligence/data warehouse expertise to companies representing a wide range of industries including financial services, healthcare, consumer goods, automotive, government, insurance, telecommunications and biotechnology. Mr. Young started his studies at Florida International University in Miami, Florida but he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from University of Maryland.
On his free time Mr. Young enjoys running, working out, playing soccer, writing poetry and learning to play musical instruments as he is the son of a renowned percussionist in the South American music scene, and the father of a talented young bass player who was awarded a presidential scholarship to Berklee College of music.
Mr. Young is an avid and inquisitive technologist who is always researching and evaluating emerging technologies in order to provide organizations with the best recommendations to build solid enterprise integration and data analysis solutions.
